The centrepiece of 171 Entertainment's work with The McClymonts is an intimate documentary portrait of the three sisters — Brooke, Samantha, and Mollie. Directed by Ross Wood, the production goes beyond the surface of the group's success to explore the family dynamics, creative chemistry, and individual personalities that make The McClymonts one of the most distinctive acts in Australian country music.

The documentary was developed over an extended production period, giving the filmmaking team access to the group during their creative and personal lives in a way that one-day EPK shoots cannot achieve. The result is a production that country music fans, industry professionals, and documentary audiences found equally engaging.

Documentary filmmaking for established artists presents unique challenges that differ from music video or EPK production. About The McClymonts

The McClymonts are an Australian country music group consisting of sisters Brooke, Samantha (Sam), and Mollie McClymont. Hailing from Grafton, New South Wales, the trio became one of Australia's most successful country music acts through a combination of exceptional vocal harmony, strong songwriting, and a genuine connection with their audience.

The group has won multiple CMAA Golden Guitar awards across several categories and received numerous ARIA Award nominations, establishing themselves as a cornerstone of the Australian country music scene. Their three-part harmony — built from childhood singing together — is a genuinely rare sound in Australian music: tight, instinctive, and unmistakably their own.
